At Salt Creek Upland Hunts, we offer high quality hunting like you remember in the "good old days", without the long drive and the expense of South Dakota. To start with, Darren Birchell (pictured far right), owner and operator of the club, has more than 15 yrs. experience guiding and managing shooting preserves. Darren understands the thrill behind watching heart stopping points or hard earned retrieves while chasing fast flying upland birds. The quality of birds is second to none.

Equally important is the availability of first rate habitat.  In Northern Cache Valley Utah, the Val J. Rigby ranch is nearly 2500 acres of CRP, sage draws, ravines, dry farm grain fields, willows, and corn. The Rigby ranch is managed by Darren, who is excellent at making sure your hunt is successful. Hunting primarily for roosters begins early Sept to November 20. After that, hunts are made up of mixed bag.
